Here are two pictures of Sherry taken on a pony when she was a little girl.

This first one is Sherry on Goldie, her horse when she was little. She grew up in Tomball, in a house with some acreage behind it. At the time (50's), it was country, about 30-40 miles north of Houston. Now, it's a suburb, with developments all around it. Her dad still lives there.

This picture is dated May 1957.

This second picture is Sherry on a Shetland pony. The date is unknown.

There was a man who used to travel through neighborhoods with this pony, and kids would have their pictures taken on it. He would come around about once a year, and it was a big event. Kids got all dressed up (check out young Dale Evans below) for their picture.
