Welcome traders! For the foreseeable future, I am not doing any trading (nor can I do any b&p). The constraints of time, work & family require that I put my music trading on the back burner for a while. Thanks for understanding.

CDR Trading Guidelines

I trade CDs of live recordings, from artists that encourage (or at least tolerate) it. Most of these have come from friends, trades and etree. If time allows, I'm happy to burn copies for others; all I ask is that you help to spread the music yourself. To return to the CD-R page and listing, click here.

If you wanna trade or b&p, please read this entire page first, then email me. And thanks for stopping by!

Trades

First and foremost: All my CD>CD is done on Plextor equipment. I use a Plex40max reader, and an 8/20 CDR. I don't use EAC, as it's not necessary if you use Plextor drives. However, some people go postal over this, so consider this a heads up. On your end, if you are not using Plextor equipment, please use EAC. Also (do I really need to say this?), DAO only.

In most cases (unless I know you), I am going to wait until your CD shows up, before I send mine out.

If I have a cover I made myself, I'll be glad to create a hi-res 600dpi color Adobe Acrobat PDF file, and email it to you. Please do the same. Also, I will always include any history that I have; where it came from, lineage, generations, setlists, etc. Please do the same. If you have a cover, but can only print it, please send the printed cover to me with the CDs, and I will print mine for you. I love covers!

I'm really picky about sound quality. I only want A or A+ recordings. Most audience (aud) recordings do not fall into this category. So unless you have a really crispy aud, please don't offer. Let's stick to soundboards (sbd).

Don't send CD cases, they break and cost more to mail; just put them in paper or plastic CD sleeves.

~ ~ ~ blanks & postage (AKA b&p) ~ ~ ~

If we are doing a b&p, please follow these guidelines:

1. Place the proper number of blank CDRs into a self-addressed, stamped, padded BUBBLE mailer. Use stamps; no metered strips. (Suggestion: use a $3.50 Priority stamp; it's quick & easy, and you don't have to worry about weight--it's good up to one pound.) Don't use fiber-packed mailers; if they split open in transit, the fine fiber dust clogs up the CDR lens. Please use a reasonably new, clean bubble mailer.

2. Place the above package into a manilla envelope addressed to me. I will send you my mailing address by email.

3. Include a note telling me what they are for, along with your name, postal address and e-mail address.

4. You can use any brand of CDR you like, as my PlexWriter hasn't balked at any brand....yet. Don't send the jewel cases; just send the CDRs in a sleeve.

5. Please send your b&p package within 30 days. If it's been longer than that, email me before sending it.

Read this!

If I am doing a b&p for you, please follow ALL these guidelines. Do NOT send me your blanks without sending a return padded mailer with postage on it. If you send money, I will return your entire package, with blanks. If you don't have the time to get postage, why should I?

(I hate to post a warning like this, but after receiving another package with no return mailer, no postage, and a couple of bucks with a note "for postage", I've had it.)

Please note that I am not responsible for packages lost in the mail.

If you don't follow these guidelines, expect your package to be returned.

Enjoy the music....and leave it on!
